High View House - Pirates Bay Views

Late spring trip to a peaceful spot Positive: Cosy house with great views of the water, a nice fireplace that we surprisingly needed to use in late November but made a difference to our experience.

A very comfy place to stay and enjoy Positive: Lovely modern house overlooking trees, with glimpses of Pirates Bay. Bed and bedding good quality. Excellent shower. Furnishings comfy and attractive. Lovely landscaping around the house, full of native wildflowers. Heaters in every room were much appreciated. Close to many interesting places. Quiet enough to hear the waves at night - bliss. Negative: The heat pump wasn't as effective as we hoped - does it need a service? We would have appreciated a rubber mat in the bath, as the shower is over the bath. There is a handrail - thank you. The view entails 37 steps up from the car park - we knew this from the photos, but perhaps a special mention of this on the site. Take great care driving on the narrow curving driveway - we nearly hit the boulders!
